Festival of Praise
August 11, 2018
Hope and Healing
7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Through the Cross and Resurrection Jesus has opened for us a way into heaven. This gives us the type of Hope that will not disappoint because it is packaged in God’s love. Relying on this Hope we know that Jesus will hear our prayers and strengthen our character to provide the Healing grace needed to face the many struggles of this world.
We welcome Fr. John Skirtich, Administrator of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin parish in Whitehall, as presider and homilist, and look forward to having him share his insights on this month’s theme.
This service is an overwhelming celebration of Jesus, with adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Benediction and Eucharistic Procession.
The Praise Band Repertoire includes more than thirty beautiful songs and continues to grow monthly. You can view and listen to You Tube videos (by recording artist) of these songs. Links to the videos are posted on the Festival of Praise page found on the parish website (www.holyapostlesparish.org/festivalofpraise).
ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND!
