Festival of Praise

July 14, 2018

Renewing Our Baptismal Calling

7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

We are pleased to welcome Father Tom Galvin back as presider and inspirational speaker. We also welcome Patricia McCullough a judge of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, as witness speaker. Judge McCullough was previously Executive Director of Catholic Charities here in Pittsburgh.

Jesus offers so much and He is always there for us with open arms. We only need to turn to Him and ask for his guidance and love. Father Galvin and Judge McCullough will share their thoughts, experiences and insight on “Receiving God’s Gifts”.

Our Festival of Praise is a beautiful opportunity for us to offer praise to Jesus and receive His love as His beloved children.

18th Annual Mission Trip

It is that time again to begin recruiting for our annual mission trip. Since 2001 volunteers from our parish have been traveling to Louisa, Kentucky - the heart of Appalachia. Our work is to continue the legacy of Fr. Ralph Beiting who worked tirelessly for the people of Appalachia for over 60 years.

Our trip will be July 15-21, 2018. We will be teaching vacation bible school, completing home repairs and visiting with the local people. We are limited in our numbers, so it is very important that you contact me as soon as possible if you are interested (412-884-8222).

All volunteers are asked to pay $75 to the mission center for use of the facilities and help with fund raising for the other expenses. God Bless! Please consider this awesome opportunity to spread the love of Jesus through our actions!
