At various times during the year, the parish sponsors various social or fund raising events. These events generally involve food preparation as well as facility set up and clean up. Additional help is always needed and greatly appreciated.

Advent Potluck Dinner
Cooks from the parish share their best dishes at this annual parish dinner held in December.
Ladies of Charity Tea
An annual tea party hosted by the members of the Ladies of Charity.
Two bingos are held each year as fundraisers for the Women’s Guild/Christian Mothers.
Lenten Fish Fry
Our parish families join together to enjoy fish dinners, baked goods, and fresh donuts on Ash Wednesday and the Fridays of Lent.
Blessing of Baskets
Food baskets are blessed each year on Holy Saturday.
Lunch with Santa
A day of fun for children with lunch, craft activities, a Chinese auction of toys, a reading of The Christmas Story, and a visit with Santa.
Blessing of Pets
Annual blessing of pets takes place the Saturday closest to the feast of St. Francis of Assisi (October 4).
Morning of Service (Senior Outreach)
Parish volunteers gather to prepare cards and gift bags for the elderly/homebound parishioners.
An opportunity for parishioners to help others by donating blood.
An annual event consisting of a German dinner, entertainment, and a Chinese auction.
A themed luncheon with tables decorated for the various months/holidays/seasons of the year.
A day of outdoor family fun for the parishioners with food, Bingo, 50/50 raffle, and games.
An annual catered dinner with chances to win money prizes.
Weekends of spiritual reflection are available several times a year; one for the men of the parish and one weekend for the women.
A virtual cookie store, where donated freshly baked cookies can be purchased.
An opportunity to purchase homemade soups of various types that have been donated by other members of the congregation.
Parishioners have an opportunity for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every Wednesday during Lent.
Stations of the Cross
Each Friday during Lent, parishioners have an opportunity to pray the Stations of the Cross.
Halloween Trunk or Treat
A chance for the children of the parish to trick or treat in one location. Parishioners decorate their car trunks and give out candy to costumed trick or treaters.
Four days of fun, food, and fellowship as the parish community gathers for dinner, rides, games, and entertainment.
